Alan McManus hopes after winning his first match in the Welsh open he will get back to the top 32 , winning 5-2 in front of Rod Lawler on Monday. The 26 year old, even he was two times finalist on the Welsh open he started this season low rated, just on the 51 place on world ranking. He comes with confidence at this open , hoping on getting back to the first 32. "I'm touch and go for the top 32 and that's my main target for the rest of the season," said the Glasgow-based player." Alanc McManus will face Stephen Maguire on the second round of the Welsh open.
